“ Wow! So the place is a little outdated but food was really good! I had the arrachera which comes with beans, rice and small salad (called carne al carbon). The appetizer was tasty. The place is a little pricey but based on portions and taste it was good. My husband had the arrachera and fish tacos. Lots of meat on his tacos. Very filling. Best we've had in a long while. We would come again. I am only taking off a star due to ambiance. The steak was delicious! ”

This is personally my favorite restaurant in town, waitresses are very kind and helpful and the bar is always a great time! The food is a little pricey but totally worth it in quality and portion size. If you're looking for a big and very delicious meal I recommend any of the Molcajetes! ”
“ The only reason I don't give it a 5 is the service is usually slower. I love the carne al carbon and pretty much any dish I've had has been delicious! Their agua de limon or limeade is made fresh with each order. I'm not sure how they make it but it's so so good and refreshing, it's also huge! The place is in heart of Waukegan but it's very good don't let the location or facade fool you! ”

It comes with the meat, a little salad, Mexican rice, refried beans with cheese on top, grilled onions, a banana pepper, and a red enchilada. Very filling and very delicious. ”
